SWCCD was set up to help determine the cause, prevention, and treatment of Chronic Inflammatory Disease. The main diseases of interest are Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Gulf War Veteran's Illness, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Scleroderma, Osteoarthritis, Autoimmune Disease, Crohn's Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Neurologic Disorders (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis, ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, Parkinsonís Disease, and Autism). These diseases are thought to occur primarily through genetic and aging phenomena. Dr. Stephen E. Fry, the founder of SWCCD, believes that these diseases may have a common infectious origin. We are exploring this possibility through basic research. Please join us in this process by donating to SWCCD!
